- December 16, 2005: Adoption application with America World
- March 2006: The Paperchase begins
- May - July 2006: Home study
- August 3, 2006: Fingerprinting in Charlotte
- September 22, 2006: DTC (Dossier To China)
- October 19, 2006: LID (Log In Date)
- November 1, 2007: Waiting Child Application
- January 9, 2008: Home study update
- March 19, 2008: Fingerprinting in Charlotte - again!
- March 20, 2008: Referral Call!!! - at work!
- April 14, 2008: Accepted referral
- April 22, 2008: Letter of Intent - Electronic Acceptance to China
- April 29, 2008: Pre-approval
- May 19, 2008: Referral Approval!!!
- June 9, 2008: Travel approval
- July 19 - 30 2008: In China!

It sounds very exciting over there. I wonder if Jordyn has ever had her teeth brushed before? She looks happy in the pictures. It sounds like she is bonding really well with you. Yeah! I am glad you have some friends to help you over there. It sounds like anything might happen when you go out. Be careful.

What a cutie and she sleeps well too. You are very blessed. Another verse -- "My feet stand on level ground...Psalm 26:12. The Lord Jesus is the reason for that. In conclusion, try flossing Jordyn's teeth.(just kidding)

Dear Kim,
I am in awe of you! What an adventure! What a difference you are making! I know that, with time, Jordyn's trust will grow and she will thrive in her new family. It will not be easy but your faith, family and friends will be there to help you both. I am loving reading your posts and seeing the pictures.
